Orange Pi Speed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I got my hands on a used Raspberry Pi and I ordered an Orange Pi at Aliexpress (which was an ordeal). With both devices up and running I decided to run a simple benchmark to see which\u00a0tiny computer is faster.<\/p>\n<h5>Basic Specs<\/h5>\n<p>Orange Pi One<br \/>\nQuad-core ARM Cortex-A7, 1.2GHz<br \/>\n512MB RAM<br \/>\nDebian GNU\/Linux 8<\/p>\n<p>Raspberry Pi,\u00a0Model B Rev 2.0<br \/>\nQuad-core ARM Cortex-A7, 900GHz<br \/>\n512MB RAM<br \/>\nRaspbian GNU\/Linux 8<\/p>\n<p>Both machines are running headless OS. \u00a0I suspect not having to draw the GUI may speed things up a bit. Typical installations with a desktop maybe a little slower.<\/p>\n<p>Orange Pi One is roughly twice as fast as Raspberry Pi Model B.
